STAUFFER CABIN
Located on our property is a historic log cabin, the Stauffer cabin. Dr. Jessie (Stauffer) Smith, the first female doctor in Madison County, was born and raised in the cabin. She practiced medicine in the area from 1893-1916, and delivered the famous John Wayne.
